Instant Payments Reporting

Helping banks and PSPs comply with the new EBA IPR framework

The EU Instant Payments Regulation (IPR – Regulation (EU) 2024/886) requires all Payment Service Providers (PSPs) that offer euro credit transfers – including banks, payment institutions, and e-money institutions – to also support instant SEPA credit transfers (≤10 seconds).

From 2025–2026, institutions must:

  • Enable 24/7 instant euro transfers (SEPA Instant)
  • Ensure fees are no higher than for standard transfers
  • Screen users daily for sanctions compliance
  • Report to the EBA in line with new DPM 2.0 and xBRL-CSV standards

First submission: April 2026
xBRL-CSV ready
Trusted by European regulators

Key challenges for banks & PSPs

Operational

  • Upgrading legacy systems for 24/7 instant payments
  • Integrating sanctions screening into structured reporting
  • Managing new EBA validation and filing rules

Strategic

  • Turning IPR data into business insights (pricing, adoption rates, efficiency)
  • Aligning payment reporting with prudential and resolution frameworks (COREP, FINREP, SRB RES)
