UBPartner XBRL Processing Engine Version 5.3 Available

UBPartner is pleased to announce that the latest release of its XBRL Processing Engine (XPE) software, version 5.3, is available for download.

This release is intended to provide specific fixes and enhancements. Highlights include:

  • Updated Inline XBRL library and Unit Type Registry support
  • Enhanced multi-threading support for distributed grammars
  • Support for Extensible Enumerations 1.0
  • Configurable evaluation thresholds for efficient processing of large XBRL documents
  • Improved ‘duplicate fact’ validation warnings
  • XBRL Table Linkbase version updates

Release Note & Downloads

The software and release notes will be available from the customer download page in the coming days and customers should receive an automated message from the download center when the updated software package is available.

Previous Releases

Version 5.2 will move into Extended Support 12 months after the release of Version 5.3. Earlier versions of XPE will be put onto special maintenance support as of this release. Customers wishing to continue using previous versions can continue with Extended Support after this time. Please contact support@ubpartner.com, if you want further details on this.

XPE

XPE is a software development kit (SDK) for building applications that consume, generate, edit, and validate XBRL documents. It is designed to be integrated into an existing IT infrastructure to facilitate XBRL adoption for enterprise applications.

This high performance XBRL engine has continually shown to be among the best performers in terms of large document handling; formula execution and complex taxonomies. It is also fully compliant with all current XBRL standards.
